Gospel Scroll ("we", "us", or "our") built the Gospel Scroll mobile application to help you spend more time in the Word. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Gospel Scroll, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
- Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and a display name.
- App activity. We collect the verses you save, reading streaks, and devotional progress so we can sync them across your devices and personalize your feed.
- Device & usage data. We collect standard technical information such as device type, operating system version, and anonymized usage analytics to keep the app running smoothly.
- Purchases. Subscription purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but never your full payment details.
How we use your information
- To provide, maintain, and personalize your Gospel Scroll experience.
- To sync your saved content and progress across devices.
- To send optional reminders and notifications you have opted into.
- To improve the app, diagnose issues, and develop new features.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted service providers (such as cloud hosting and analytics) that help us operate the app, and only as needed to provide the service. We may disclose information if required by law.
Data retention & security
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data, though no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

- You can turn notifications on or off in your device settings.
- You may request a copy or deletion of your data by contacting us.
Children's privacy
Gospel Scroll is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
